Anand Psychotherapy, Joy Misra
Home

I do individual psychotherapeutic work, as well as work with couples, families, and alternate forms of relationship.  I work with issues of spirituality, sexuality, trauma, gender, depression, anxiety, and transitions.  I work with those who need resolution around their ancestors or personal lineage, and with surfacing archetypal material in one's life.

I work with wounds that there is no seeming cause for, with birth histories, stories of violence, shame, and pain, and with breath and its mysteries.  I work with death and soul-seeking, with body illness, and with love and its absence.

About Joy

I have my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Portland State University, where I specialized in couples, marriage, and family therapy. I am currently working on my doctorate in Depth (or Jungian) Psychotherapy.

I love to be part of others deepest truths, delving, joys, sorrows, & journey. I can take many forms and expressions, to shape-shift and meet the moment at hand. I am a poet, a seeker, a story-teller, an artist, and an alchemist of heart.
